Ryan let his gaze linger on the living Stef and her own injured agent for a minute longer before he started on the inevitable walk.

He ached, blood dripped down his face and his uniform was out of sorts – but every worry that presented itself quietly disappeared under the weight of one undeniable fact.

A brief history of the character first – she was originally just supposed to have a one-line (or three) appearance and then disappear – she’s a fat nerd with purple hair…I essentially wrote her in so I had a spot to cameo if/when Cookie is ever made into a series/movie.

(No, I don’t have purple hair…I want it though. Blame Gertrude Yorkes for that. I’ve also checked with my day job, and they have no restrictions on hair colour, so it may happen).

Whatever happened to the magic guns?

This answer is actually really boring - for the moment, they've just been put into storage as they're seen as too much of an advantage (they cross the border of what's "fair" - which admittedly is a fluid concept within the Agency).

Ryan tried them out and Jonesy salivated for a bit, but after that, just chucked in a box and forgotten.

Whether or not they surface at a later point is yet to be seen...

Gnosis recently hit chapter 42, and passed 70k words. This is huge for me, because Gnosis is my first big fiction project. I wouldn't have made it so far without Stormy's precious help *hands over cake to Stormy*, but I still have a very long way to go before I can feel like an actual writer.

Chapters 41 and 42 - Road Trip parts 1 and 2 - contain a big piece of important backstory. This is probably long overdue, as I'm now looking back and wondering how come I made so little happen in 40 chapters... but I'm learning.

Stef's favourite colour is Agency blue - it's the first colour she had a positive association with.

This is part of the Tech Department's job - there's usually 5-9 operators on any particular shift, and the calls are taken by whoever picks it up first.
