Next Book!

I like to leave polls open a bit before I give further detail - it's kind of the recruitment philosphy, some people jump at an obvious choice.

So while I'm going to make an effort to get back to Mirrorheart (before I'm done with BD, or after, only Chaos knows), but for book (at the moment) #7, I thought I'd see what you guys wanted - it's non-binding, and all of these stories will happen eventually:

Stef, Hook and the Lost
Hook comes to Stef (...even though the Agency has proper liaisons with the Lost) to explain a somewhat delicate situation - an agent is abusing their child, and that child has one of the Lost caring for them. In normal circumstances, they'd remove the child, but given it's the Agency, there's more recourse to actually deal with the abusive parent. Stuff ensues. In my head this is a short (but BD was supposed to clock in at about 20k), but I have the feeling it could go longer - especially since I love Stef and Hook.

Angelpie's affirmation ceremony, which really amounts to the reception - party, drink, pretty dresses, etc.

So there's that aspect (and probably some good sex scenes), but what makes this one interesting is the revelation that Taylor read Clarke's mind after snapping his neck, and they've been going around clearing out all of his accounts, so they have a huge amount of loot to split.

Also other stuff.

I give up, I'm just calling them Sturt.

Curt realises that he's never really taken Stef on a date, so organises for them to have a romantic weekend - starts in fairyland, where she takes her to some fae entertainment stuff (some of which I can't wait to show off), then they go to a special place that he's organised...which is very sciencey, and awesome, and Tesla-related.

I think more than anything I've done it'll be a relationship piece (but hopefully not boring), just to give them breathing room to deal with certain aspects (like the dynamics of havign a sexy/asexy relationship), and the paranoias Stef still has about everything.

There may also be a very fanservicey scene (if you're into Stef like Curt is), but that's still on the maybe pile.
